flyer
Harada was dissatisfied with the fact that many small theater companies in Japan depended on friends and acquaintances to attract customers.
First of all, many of the flyers for small theater companies only contained abstract images and no information about the content of the play.
In that case, complete outsiders and strangers have no basis for deciding whether to go see the theater company.
One day (in 1983), Harada was moved when he saw the poster and flyer for Shuji Terayama's "Kusa Meikyu."
The design covered every scene in the film, and had elements that made even people with no prior knowledge of films want to see it.
That was the reason why when Harada designed flyers, he scattered a variety of scenes rather than using one abstract image.
