Current international exchanges of left-wing parties
On September 18th, there was a report session on the contents of meetings between left-wing parties from Germany, Belgium, and France and Japanese Communist Party Chairman Kazuo Shii.
Unlike the days when the Soviet Union tried to control the world's communist parties, diplomacy is now conducted freely.
The summary of the report given on the 18th is as follows:
The left-wing parties of Germany, Belgium and France, as well as the Japanese Communist Party, have some common issues to raise: Russia's invasion of Ukraine and Israel's invasion of Gaza.
The Japanese Communist Party and European left-wing parties also agreed on opposing far-right xenophobia.
Shii, chairman of the Japanese Communist Party, said, "Currently, NATO and others are using Russia's invasion of Ukraine to pressure other countries to strengthen their military forces, and are plotting to unify the world's military institutions. However, we should aim for a fair peace based on UN peace resolutions and the like."
Shii also stated that the double standards of Western countries, who criticize Russia while defending Israel, should not be tolerated.
Shii also handed each of the representatives of each country's organization an English version of a paper on Marx's basic principle, "Communism is the creation of freely disposable time."

The German left-wing party "Die Linke" has seen 8,000 people join the party in recent months. Most of them are women and young people.
The Belgian Labor Party has admitted the mistake of following China, and is now taking an independent path. (As I mentioned in this blog, Marx said that the communist movement in each country should take into account the circumstances of each country.)
And now they are making full use of social media. Short video distribution is particularly effective.
The French Communist Party has admitted the mistake of following the Soviet Union, and is now taking an independent path, returning to the basics of the Communist Manifesto of Marx and Engels.
They then reported to Shii on the situation of the recent National Assembly elections.
Currently, the left-wing coalition "New People's Front" (composed of the Communist Party, Unsubmissive France, the Socialist Party, the Green Party, etc.) is the largest force, the ruling coalition is the second largest force, and the far-right forces are the third largest force.
However, the closeness between Macron and the far-right is creating a dangerous situation.
Shii had a discussion with the French Green Party. Both sides agreed that the problems of nuclear power and the environmental crisis cannot be solved under capitalism.

Shii met with Belgian and French labor unions and received a lecture at the EU headquarters.
Shii asked, "What is the reason for the big gap between Japan and Europe in issues such as employment and gender?"
They answered him as follows:
"Right now, Europe is in the midst of a struggle with neoliberalism, which is destroying social rules. That is why we fight and create social rules."
The Belgian labor union told Shii:
"We are fighting to reduce working hours in order to gain free time. If we don't fight, we can't have free time. We use our free time to fight against capitalists."
This statement was the same as what Marx once said: "Workers having free time gives them great mental and physical energy."
