MIDORI's Income and Expenditure Statement
Expenses from 1992 to 1994 were about 12 million yen. Revenues were about 7 million yen (of which about 800,000 yen was donations from volunteer staff).
The deficit was about 5 million yen.
MIDORI was released with large-scale stage sets, performers, and various devices, so expenses were also high.
Kiriyukan is committed to practicing a style that large companies could never do.
Kiriyukan sets the admission fee quite low so that even people with financial difficulties can attend the performance. (The admission fee for MIDORI is 1,200 yen. The admission fee for Horizon Blue in 2019 is 1,000 yen.)
The deficit further increased at the 2000 Suzunari performance, which was jointly held by the three studios.
Although Horizon Blue reduced expenditures on stage performances, it was still in the red.
Harada paid off all of the deficit and debts by working for several years.
