Time at your disposal
This year marks 102 years since the founding of the Japanese Communist Party.
During the war, the Japanese government and the Special Higher Police oppressed the Japanese Communist Party and massacred many Communists.
As soon as Japan lost the Second World War, the Japanese Communist Party became a legal political party.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, some left-wing Japanese political parties lowered the flag of socialism, but the Japanese Communist Party continues to advocate Marx's theory.
The party has members in the National Diet and local administrative districts.
However, attacks on the Japanese Communist Party by those in power, the wealthy, far-right groups, and cult groups continue to this day.
Despite this, the Japanese Communist Party has a steady stream of supporters from the younger generation.
In addition to participating in National Diet and civic activities, the Japanese Communist Party regularly holds research activities and lectures on Marx.

On June 25, Chairman Kazuo Shii gave a lecture titled "Time at your disposal and the theory of the future society: following in the footsteps of Marx's exploration."

This lecture focuses on the draft of Das Kapital by Marx, and chronologically explains the process by which Marx went from the draft to the final version of Das Kapital.
Marx and Engels used the British Library to research all previous research, philosophy, and economics.
At that time, he discovered a pamphlet by Charles John Wentworth Dilke (anonymous at the time).
Marx was surprised to read that "true wealth is time at your disposal."
If Marx had not discovered it, the pamphlet would have been lost to history.
Freedom is something that all humans should have, but in capitalist society, the ruling class plunders freedom.
This is tantamount to the theft of civilization.
Marx then began to analyze exploitation and surplus labor.
Marx said that if everyone had more time at their disposal, it would create more time for science and art, and the quality of society and labor would improve.
At the time, the working day was 12 hours, but Marx advocated reducing it to 6 hours.
Working time belongs to each individual, not to others.
Marx stated that work is more enjoyable if one works of one's own will, not under the orders of others.
