Notes on “Limitless Paradise”
The notebook for “Limitless Paradise” was discovered.
It contains the main character's long monologue, simple scene specifications, and music specifications.
All the characters have proper nouns, but they were cut from the main story. The monologue is also shorter in the main story.
The memo states that Takamori is connected to New Left activists, but does not belong to any particular sect. (It's called non-sect.)
The only difference is that he has chosen an armed revolution, and that he uses many words in rapid succession to give an agitation-like speech.
In Japan in the 1970s, the New Left was very powerful, and many people in the cultural world were New Leftists. The New Left fiercely attacked the Japanese Communist Party, which had broken away from armed revolution.
Although Harada was not a New Leftist, he believed that his works needed radical and delinquent elements.
Harada entrusted his two characters with the aggressive desire hidden within himself and the pastoral side he also possessed within himself.
“Limitless Paradise” seems to have been produced based on very simple notes, rather than a particularly detailed script or storyboards.

The name of the main character's only friend is Ryuichi Takamori. He has the same name as Toei's socially conscious director.

Takamori's arguments are not much different from those of the left.
The only difference is that he has chosen an armed revolution, and that he uses many words in rapid succession to give an agitation-like speech.
