This is a book that explains ''Die Entwicklung des Sozialismus von der Utopie zur Wissenschaft(From Fantasy to Science)'' (written by Engels/Foreword: Marx).
Before Marx, various forms of socialism existed in the world. However, this was a fantasy socialism created in the minds of various people.
Marx and Engels insisted on the importance of materialism, dialectics, and science and economics.
Around the age of 20, Engels realized that the Bible contradicted natural science.
Engels also pointed out that ''metaphysics'' was an idea that opposed dialectics.
Dialectics began in ancient Greece. The Greek philosophers created dialectics from the first natural forms that humans encounter (interrelated and changing).
the author says. Until the Edo period, labor in Japan was based on the small-scale management system. However, merchants intervened and production and distribution became divided. From that time on, the goods produced by the workers became the property of the merchants. These eventually became large factories.
After ''Das Kapital'' was published, the word ''capitalism'' spread rapidly. Capitalists also started using the word "capitalism," but they probably didn't know that Marx coined the word.
Marx pointed out that ''Capital has the urge to eliminate various rules and develop production without limit''.
Marx initially used the term ''nationalization,'' but later he came to call it ''socialization of the means of production''.
Engels describes the ''socialization of the means of production'' as a transformation into complete and free activity and cultivation of body and mind.
Marx said, ''Producers become free only when they own the means of production''.
Marx and Engels stated that the future society would require an ''association society'' in which each individual could freely develop, rather than a capitalist society where profits were the first priority.
the author says. ''Everyone wants to make a leap forward quickly, but it is important to accumulate steady efforts on a daily basis.''
