Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Prime Minister Kishida. two protests.Tokyo

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs protest was mainly called for by "Sogakari".
The protests against Prime Minister Kishida were led by young people who inherited the "SEALDs" tradition.

Currently, citizens are able to safely make loud noises in front of the Prime Minister's official residence and around the National Diet Building, but in the past it was prohibited.
Originally, there was a "quiet ordinance'' in the area around the National Diet, and the police prohibited making loud noises.
The 2012 "Hangenren" anti-nuclear protests broke this tradition.
"Hangenren'' was dressed in all black and had a large drum corps play loudly.
At that time, up to 200,000 citizens opposed to nuclear power plants crowded in front of the Prime Minister's official residence.
"Hangenren'' is a group of working adults that distinguishes itself from traditional leftists, and instead of viewing the police as enemies, they conducted demonstrations in cooperation with the police.
When the New Left and radical citizens tried to storm the Prime Minister's office, the Hangenren stopped them. The reason:"It would become impossible to continue the protest.''
While maintaining their hardcore punk style, Hangenren took various measures to make it easier for women, young people, and families to participate in the protests. They excluded the radical elements of the New Left while accepting the participation of left-wing parties such as the Japanese Communist Party and the Social Democratic Party.
In this way, loud drum sounds could be heard around the Japanese National Diet Building.
Up to 200,000 people took part in the "Hangenren" protests, but only the free media, the Tokyo Shimbun, and the Japan Communist Party's newspaper "Akahara (Red Flag)" reported on them. Other mass media did not report it. (This is the reason why Harada refuses to be interviewed by mass media other than the Tokyo Shimbun and Akahata).
The "Hangenren" style was later inherited by student organizations SEALs and antifa groups.
Demonstrations around the National Diet Building are common these days, but Harada says that when he first participated in a protest in front of the prime minister's office in 2012, he was worried that he would be arrested. In the first place, criticizing nuclear power plants itself was taboo at the time. In a roundtable discussion between Hangenren members and SEALDs, Hangenren members also said that they were worried about being arrested when they protested for the first time. At the roundtable discussion, a member of the student group "SEALDs'' said, "I had never been interested in politics until then, but I saw "Hangenren'' and was influenced by it.''Since then, various individual organizations have continued to experiment with new demonstration styles on the streets, which continues to this day. Harada says. "This phenomenon has the same structure as Terayama's street theater. It was not the conservative theater community, but young, new protesters against the government who continued to carry out various experiments on the streets.''
