In addition, Harada collaborated with the labor unions of Toei Douga (now Toei Animation) and Tokyo Movie (now Tom's Entertainment) to display original illustrations appealing to the animators' opposition to nuclear weapons.
On the left of the right photo is Katsufumi Haryu (blue shirt), a design school classmate and art director of MIDORI who came to see the exhibition. (Harada is on the right.)
A pictorial record of the animation background art exhibition (2023 / Kanazawa) featuring interviews with Haryu and Hiroshi Ohno (art director of "Kiki's Delivery Service") and Toshiharu Mizutani (art director of "AKIRA") has been released. (No overseas sales)
