Election leaflet 1983

Japan's government, the LDP(Liberal Democratic Party), has dominated national and local government since the end of the war.
This is a 1983 campaign leaflet for the city of Tachikawa, Tokyo, distributed by a progressive left-wing civic group, criticizing the politics of the LDP(Liberal Democratic Party).
The innovative citizens' group asked Harada to create it through the introduction of the labor union that Harada was a member of.
Unfortunately, in Japan today, 50% of voters in national elections and about 70% in local elections (excluding Tokyo and Okinawa) do not go to elections.

“Is it an innovative municipal administration that protects agriculture, or is it an LDP municipal administration that destroys agriculture?”
Publishing, printing, original manuscript: Heiwa Kakushin SHimin no Kai(Peace liberal Citizens Association)/ Illustration and handwriting characters: Hiroshi Harada (21 years old)
