Ankokusen (The Dark ship) 暗黒船 (1983-1992)
A family traveling abroad. Kazuko, the only daughter, gets lost in an underground restaurant like a black market and can't return.
A landscape that combines "Blade Runner" (1982) and "Don't Look Now" (1973).
She is rescued by a hunchbacked young man who has a large bump on her back.
Kazuko returns to Japan on a smuggling ship, but she is caught by a mysterious organization and cannot return to her home.
...That's the first story, then.
Kazuko is being confined underground by a wealthy big man. When the boy learns of this, he tries to rescue Kazuko.
Influenced by 1970s cruel movies such as Toshio Matsumoto's "Shura" (1971), Harada decided to create a tragic story that would surprise everyone.
"Zashikiro" inherited the episode "a boy rescues a woman who was confined in the basement".
Both "BOO" and "The Dark Ship" have been completed up to the storyboard.
But the fact that it wasn't actually produced was probably due to the lack of "something else important."
